Here is the summer letter and supply list for Shapleigh 7th graders. You can also find this document under TEAM FORMS & DOCS.

Dear 7th grader and family,

With the school year around the corner, we would like to take a moment of your time to welcome you to the seventh grade.  We are looking forward to making this a successful and enjoyable year for you. To insure this success, we must all keep the lines of communication open. When we commit to education as a team, including student, family, teachers, and community, everyone is happier, more productive, and feeling comfortable with the school environment.

We will not only study academics, but we will also share with you some life-skill traits that will help you to be successful in our global world. We will help you to achieve your best potential through classroom support and instruction.  As you prepare for the school year to begin, we urge you to focus on how you will be responsible for your learning and behavior. Our expectations for conduct and academic standards are high.  We stand by the philosophy that “Everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.” With our mutual commitment to learning in and out of the classroom, we can all look forward to a productive, creative, and enjoyable year together.

Enjoy the rest of your summer and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, September 3rd.

Sincerely yours,

The 7th grade teachers

Corrine Gagnon,  Ashleigh Locke, Nancy Sebert, and Stephen Williams
